Daily Drawing 783 – The Story of Bram

And so it came to pass

that on that fateful 23rd

day of the 2013th year in

the month of Julius, in

the Royal Hospital on the

bank of the mighty river

Fraser, a child was born.

It is he this book is about,

for this is where his

adventure begins. 1:17pm

This is the story of Bram

This is the first page from a sketchbook I started in the hospital on the day my son was born.

The crest behind Bram is the coat of arms for the Rolston family designed by the talented Steve Rolston, my Great-Great Grandfather, and his Great-Great-Great Grandfather were brothers.

I’m going to attempt to document the early years in this sketchbook in the form of an adventure featuring a young celtic warrior and his magic sword…and most likely a dragon.

In the meantime, here’s a few photos of the young Bram 🙂

  1. Welcome Bram! Sending love and best wishes to you all!
    Your cousin (however far removed),

  2. CONGRATULATIONS! Bram is one handsome little devil – in life and in the sketchbook!
